Party Day

Even more humid today - if that’s possible.

Finished decorating in readiness for Sophie’s party at 1 pm.

The explanation for the 2 am ringing of the front door bell that had kept me wondering between 2 & 2:20 am finally emerged but Kathryn has told us NOT to speak of it: I did see 2 empty pizza boxes on the kitchen bench when I emerged this morning for breakfast with the Grab docket saying 2 am. So, not in my dreams.

But I later saw half a dozen pizza boxes in the fridge and it seems the pizzas for Sophie’s party were ordered for 2 am not 2 pm. But we are NOT to talk about by whom. Hilarious! To be honest, although I had dreamt up all sorts of scenarios by this stage, I hadn’t thought of this one. But, WE ARE NOT TO SPEAK OF THIS.

Anyway, the kids devour said pizzas!! And cupcakes. And enjoy decorating Taylor Swift t-shirts and gift bags.

And the parents survive.
